Asian Cinema, Korean director known about of KIM KI DUK
Kim Ki Duk is a director of South Korea, who was born in 1960 and unlike many other filmmakers, he came to cinema in 1990. Some of the people we've seen some Asian cinema and especially the director, know that your story has had a lot of contrast,when child he loved the countryside and agriculture, then at age 17 he became interested in being a worker of factory, period that ended in 1980 when he decided to enter the South Korean navy. For 90 years, his art was focused in painting, he became a painter in a Buddhist temple and thereafter moved to Paris to study Fine Arts, it was only then that he began his contact with the film. Upon returning to Korea participated in several competitions in writing of scripts, in some of them he won and received major awards, but none was filmed.
